Empowering Children & Families to Bloom
Our approach
We embrace your journey of growth and understand that each day unfolds as a new chapter in your story.
Like a delicate bud blossoming into a vibrant bloom, we will be by your side as you navigate the twists and turns.
We pride ourselves on utilizing Neuroaffirming therapy-based approaches to support our clients and their families.
We focus on strategies that prioritize understanding and embracing differences in thoughts and behaviour and believe they are what makes each person special, worthy and unique.
Together, we work towards holistic growth and development, fostering a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
Our approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration,
ensuring that every individual's unique strengths and challenges are honored.
We also believe that by engaging with animals and nature as part of the process we can discover our strengths and acquire self-care and emotional resilience skills. Additionally, this connection offers opportunities for personal growth and fosters a deeper sense of well-being.
We implement Dr. Ross Greene's Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) principles, prioritizing proactive problem-solving over-reactive responses to challenging behaviours. Our approach focuses on anticipating and addressing potential issues beforehand, aiming to prevent or minimize challenging behaviours before they escalate.

Our early childhood approach supports children younger than 9 and their families by providing the right assistance when they need it. This approach is specifically designed to help:
Children under 6 with developmental delays.
Children under 9 with disabilities.
Children younger than 6 can receive support through our early childhood approach even without a formal diagnosis if there are concerns about their development.
Our early childhood approach is developed based on evidence-based research. This ensures best practice in early childhood intervention, helping children and their families build capacity and encouraging greater inclusion in community and everyday settings. Each child is provided with opportunities to grow and learn, setting them up for future success.
Key Principles
Family-Centred and Strengths-Based: We acknowledge that parents and carers know their child best. Our approach focuses on the strengths and needs of each family.
Holistic Support: Families are at the centre of all services and supports, ensuring they receive the right help to enable their children to have the best possible start in life.
A child's early years are crucial as they shape how they will learn and develop later in life. By giving children and their families the right supports, we help ensure the best possible outcomes for their future. We support children in reducing the impacts of any potential developmental challenges or disabilities, aiming to develop the skills needed to achieve the best possible outcomes now and throughout their life journey, at this vital developmental time.
Our Services Include:
Tailored Support Plans: We create individual plans to support your child’s unique needs and circumstances.
Community Connections: We help connect you to community resources to support your child in achieving their ongoing goals.
Skill Development: We assist your child in developing essential skills in play, communication, social relationships, and functional behaviours.
Independence and Adaptability: We work on increasing your child’s independence and ability to adapt to their environment.
School Readiness: We improve your child’s readiness to participate in childcare, kindergarten, and school.
NDIS Funding Support: We help establish how your child can be best supported with the approved NDIS funding.

Positive Behaviour Support
Our Positive Behaviour Support is designed to help you overcome anxiety, depression, and other emotional and behavioral challenges by providing the necessary tools and skills to improve your health and wellbeing. Our Behavior Support Practitioners understand that behavior happens for a reason, and behaviors of concern are no different.
Understanding Behaviour
Behaviour is a form of communication. Our role is to understand or determine what your child or young person is trying to communicate. Behavior support can help children, young people, their families, and carers prevent or reduce behaviours of concern, which often occur when a child or young person has difficulty communicating their needs effectively within their environment.
Our Approach
Our qualified and experienced Behavior Support Practitioners work closely with you to develop quality, usable behaviour support plans for supporting children and young people with developmental delays or disabilities such as autism or learning disabilities. Every child and young person is different, and the goals will depend on their individual needs.
Goals of Behaviour Support
Identifying Causes: Helping families and carers to identify causes of behaviour and how to effectively support this.
Empowering Communication: Empowering children and young people to communicate their needs in appropriate ways.
Emotional Strategies: Providing children and young people with strategies to express or regulate their emotions.
Environmental Adaptations: Implementing environmental changes to support the child.
Reducing Disruptive Behavior: Reducing aggression and other disruptive behaviours.
Teaching Replacement Behaviors: Teaching appropriate replacement behaviours.
Following Instructions: Understanding and following instructions.
Improving School Performance: Enhancing school performance and attention.
Benefits of Positive Behaviour Support
Emotional Regulation: Improved emotional regulation.
Reduced Stress: Reduced stress and anxiety.
Enhanced Self-Awareness: Enhanced self-awareness and self-esteem.
Improved Relationships: Better relationships.
Increased Resilience: Increased resilience and coping skills.
When we are under pressure or facing difficult emotions and environments, it can be tough to communicate these thoughts constructively and positively. You might find that you or your child is instead in a cycle of responding with aggression, outbursts, or other challenging behaviours.
There is a way to harness control over these responses. Our personalized plans meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals. Reach out to us for support in navigating these challenges and improving your family's wellbeing.
